Aravali NOC, also referred to as Aravali Clearance, is a mandatory approval required for projects located within or in proximity to the ravali Hills region , particularly in notified areas of Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi. The approval is issued under the Aravali Notification dated 07.05.1992, notified by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
The Aravali range is recognised as an eco-sensitive and environmentally fragile zone, and any construction, industrial, mining, or infrastructure activity in notified Aravali areas requires prior clearance from the competent authority. Where applicable, Aravali NOC forms a conditional component of the Environmental Clearance (EC) stage and must be addressed during the EIA–EC process.
